Recipe- Easiest Home made bourbon cookies!

     Biscuits and cookies are something that each parent keeps handy for thier kids. That's the best of quick snacks that kids and mothers both prefer. While cookies are the best to fill in the kids tummies, the ready made ones available doesn't satisfy the health conscious moms. There's always a doubt about thier nutritional values and the hygienic properties.
     Being a mom, this thing often worries me too. That's why I usually prepare cookies at home and keep them stored for the little ones to have anytime. Here's a quick recipe for bourbon cookies.
Ingredients:
For cookies
● 2 cups all purpose flour
● 1 cup cocoa powder
● 1 cup castor sugar
● 1 tablespoon butter
● 1 teaspoon baking powder
● half cup milk
For cream
● half cup butter
● 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
● 1 cup icing sugar
Method:
● mix together the ingredients of cookies and make a soft dough.
● make a big circle out of the dough and flatten it with roti maker.
●cut it into rectangular pieces
●bake at 180 degree for 10 minutes.
● mix together the cream mixture and apply between the two biscuits after they are at room temperature
●serve with Milk or coffee or just like that!
*  You can even store this biscuit for longer time if kept in an air tight container.
* you can add grinded oats powder with the flour for more healthier cookies.

Recipe- Red velvette mousse!

      Exotic desserts are such in demand nowadays! And well, if they are easy too, it wild just be perfect treat for sweet tooth people like me. Let me share a recent recipe of red velvette mousse prepared by myself few days ago.
Ingredients:
For cake
●1 cup all purpose flour
●1 cup butter milk
●1 tablespoon butter
●1 tablespoon cocoa powder
●1 egg
●inch of red food colour
●1 teaspoon baking powder.
For cream
● 3 tablespoon of whip cream
● 1 cup chocolate chips melted
Seasoning
●finely cut dry fruits
           OR
● chocolate chips
Optional - 1 packet digestive biscuits
Method :
●mix all the ingredients for cake and bake for 180 Celsius for 30 minutes.
●Let it cool at room temperature when done.
●grind the cake pieces with digestive biscuits and into coarse mixture.
●mix the whipped cream with melted chocolate.
●Now, in a disposable cup, pour some powder, then add 1 scoop of cream, then add the cake mixture and the cream until the cup is filled.
●season it with some dry fruits or chocolate chips and serve chilled.
Try it out if you really love red velvet cakes and desserts and a new type of mousse is certainly most welcomed!

Dream trail of delicacy!

     When it comes to food, the word has innumerable snaps attached to it! Your mind unintentionally gets those deliceous looking images which tempts you to have those ASAP. Dreing about these delicacies is not a surprise too.
    But, there would be few foodies like myself, who dream of cooking a certain cuisine at its own very native place! Yeah! You read it right. I always aspire to prepare a certain or should I say all of the cuisines of the world at its very natural place and let those specialists out there taste it and let me know if I am equal or better than them.
     Strange, isn't it? But that's what challenges and dreams are like. I have that dream of trying out each delicacy of each state and country and prepare it for themselves. Within india, having tried of various states like kashmiri food, Rajasthan native daal baati churma, Punjab 's chole bhature, South Indian food and many more, my experience of the same was really pleasant and a perfect one.
     But, I still dream of trying out the Singaporian dishes and let those master chefs out there taste it for me, or try out the perfect American dishes and impress those foodies out there with my style of adapting to the tastes of any country. Trying out the Lebanese and the Mexican cuisine is a milestone too that's still left to achieve.
   Well, that's my journey of attaining my dream trail of food, foodies, cuisine and continents. People have strange dreams and ideas when it comes to such topics. Let's see how and till when can I attain my dream trail across the sands of time!

Obsessed with deliceous dreams

     Foodies are obsessed with food! All they could think twenty four hours of a day, or seven days of week is food! With this comes thier craze to explore different cuisines around the globe. Trying them out by tasting them and cooking them becomes thier hobby.
     Being a food fanatic, even I have that urge to try out everything and anything new related with food that I can come across to. This urge leads my dream to try out exotic dishes of each nook and corner of the world.
    I really have that craving to visit places and try out thier varied ranges of dishes and cuisines. Be it the tremendous variety in our Indian regional dishes, varying from roasted kashmiri lambs to the deccan ant based dishes. Or the famous Konkan fishes to the delectable south Indian rice cakes! Every dish around the corner of india attracts me to taste them and get to know more of thier kinds and sub kinds.
     The same goes for global cuisine. I dream of trying out really excuisite French framage and croissants. While the idea of Mexican pitas also tend to impress me a lot. When it comes to Lebanese falafels, I just couldn't control my cravings for them.
    Let's not forget about the sweet Swiss chocolates that can make anybody go hay wire. While the Malaysian cuisine are most heard about too. Listing all and not be able to have these was quite a task I should say!
    Although I am amidst the journey to satisfy my cravings, but still my need to explore some more unique food doesn't decrease. That complies, my dream of trying out different food of different areas is never going to die. It'll keep on growing as my exploration increases!

Healthy food is all we consider nowadays.taste is sort of being a secondary issue where health is considered. Never the less, we still tend to try our best to add as much tasty delights to our food as we try to put in nutrition.
now, lets get in some ideas as to how to make our nutritious food delicious too. There are always some yummy and healthy ingredients to replace of those unhealthy ones. time to catch those ones and get them a place in our dishes.

  • HONEY- Honey is quite a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and lots of anti oxides. Thus, being the best replacement of sugar. Get them a place in your daily diet to keep your body glucose level perfect and health handy too.
  • OLIVE OIL- Being a rich source of antioxidants, vitamin E, Omega 3 fats and healthy fats, it doesn't contain any cholesterol, its the best replacement for all kinds of oils and ghee. Bring this change in your recipes as soon as possible for a perfectly healthy diet.
  • OATS- Oats are natural source of manganese and molybdenum, phosphorous, copper, biotin chromium, zinc and protein and vitamins too, they can be the best replacement for rice or puffed rice or just add in your meals.
WHEAT- Wheat can be the best replacement of baking flour (maida). the reason being simple, wheat is the biggest source of proteins and can be easily used as a key ingredient in all your baking dishes.
These all ingredients,if added to your regular diet, along with some fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts, can do wonders to your health and diet plan.

EXOTIC CHOCOLATE PAN CAKES

Cravings for sweet and indulging and yet easiest and fastest to prepare? Let's have a look at this really scrumptious yet the most rapid to prepare pan cakes!
 Let'swe what we need:
1 cup all purpose flour
half cup sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 eggs
half teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
some chocolate sauce
just make it like this:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and beat.
  • In a frying pan add some oil or butter, pour a spoonfull batter 
  • Turn when one side is cooked and remove when the next one is done.
  • serve pouring some chocolate sauce ravishly.
